Looking at this in hindsight, I don't know what I was thinking!

I fold the flop.

3betting hands are all better than you right now. AK has you owned, AQ has a higher pair, and TT, JJ, and QQ all have sets. KK still has a higher pair, and AA, and yeah... you don't have a diamond in your hand. Your Ace outs are also tainted.

I think you should fold the flop against a typical 3bettor.

Hmmm... That's what I was thinking as well. But when I was playing it was all too easy just to call the flop and hope for the king!

I actually don't mind a flop call.

BDFD: 1 out
gutshot: 3.5 outs (discounted K /images/graemlins/diamond.gif)
Js: 1.75 outs (discounted for times QQ is there, or str8 or flush hits)

total: 6.25 outs = not a bad flop call at 8.4:1

No BDFD here.

FWIW I call the flop and fold the turn.

Thanks for all the help guys. What does BDFD mean?

I've stared at it long and hard... Longer than I'd have to in a game.

I recon I have 3 Kings as outs and 2 Jacks (though if I get 3oak Jacks I might need a little more improvement). That's 5 cards that improves against 42 that don't, or 8.4:1 odds (or 10.75 if you ignore the Kd).

Given that the pot was 7.9 SB when I called I guess it wasn't quite worth the bet, though I might have been able to get more money into the pot if I'd improved.

I think that your 2 options are raising the turn and folding the turn. I would usually fold, but raising might not be a bad idea here. So 80% of the time I would fold and 20% I would raise and shutdown if I get called.
