WSOP satellites to 1k events?

are any sites running satellites to the 1k 1-day NLHE WSOP events that run at the same time as the main event?

maybe this is too early to know.

Last year, Dynamitepoker (now checknraisepoker) offered a whopping ONE satellite to the $2500 NLHE event.

To my knowledge (which I am ~75% sure is complete), no one offered satellites for any events smaller than this.

I would be surprised if we see any this year. Even the smallest sites seem to be pimping $10,000 entries these days.

You could always roll-your-own through the steps. (Assuming you can find a buyer for your Step 5 seat).

funny, now that you mention it, i have a step 5 seat. no clever/safe way of selling these has popped up lately, has it?

Boy, a $1000 NLHE side-event sounds about a billion times more fun than a Step 5. And more profitable too, I'd guess.

I would ask some of the regulars on the Step 5 circuit if they want to buy it - they're playing them anyway and mostly buying in directly (I think).
