Would he raise with anything less than a straight? Can you see him raising with junk?

Difficult, what is the post flop agression factor. If it is low fold. High, call

I dunno, 1.09 over 58 does not mean anemic post flop aggression. I might call this down just to see his 4. He could easily have 32o or some such from the SB with those stats and be raising two pair, which means you have 8 outs and should call the turn. On the river, check/call.

Standard Disclaimer, I am by no means an expert at any of this.

No, but from my experience, it's these players that like to raise just for the hell of it with no strategic purpose.

I'm calling down.

Turn c/r screams flopped set to me. I think he's got 22,55, or a 4...he could have anything really. I think you need to call down here.

The combination of a turn check raise on a scary board, a small pot, and my hand being somewhat marginal (weak kicker), I (in hindsight) thought a fold should've been the correct move. But I called down to see:

Preflop: Hero is BB with A/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, 9/images/graemlins/spade.gif.
2 folds, UTG+2 calls, 3 folds, CO calls, Button calls, SB completes, Hero checks.

Flop: (5 SB) 2/images/graemlins/club.gif, 5/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, A/images/graemlins/heart.gif (5 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, UTG+2 folds, CO folds, Button folds, SB calls.

Turn: (3.50 BB) 3/images/graemlins/spade.gif (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, SB raises, Hero calls.

River: (7.50 BB) J/images/graemlins/spade.gif (2 players)
SB bets, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 9.50 BB

Results:
SB has Kc Ac (one pair, aces).
Hero has Ad 9s (one pair, aces).
Outcome: SB wins 9.50 BB.
