Sorry! I know this question has been asked a thousand times, but since conditions change, I thought I would ask again.

I am heading to Vegas this weekend for a few nights. And, would like to play some live Hold em. I have only played holdem in B&M room once in my life (home games excluded), but have booked countless hours on Paradise. I mostly play 1/2, or 2/4 and can hold my own. I have a few leaks, but I am working on em!! /forums/images/icons/smirk.gif

My question to you guys is where and at what limits should I play?

Thanks in advance!

I always reccomend the 4-8 games at the Monte Carlo and Mandalay Bay.

I second Dynasty's motion for Mandalay Bay, and also recommend Orleans (for ring games as well as tournaments) and the Bellagio. All of the above have good Fri and Sat night action.

I really like the Mirage, on the strip, near the airport, and right next door to the Bellagio.

They have a large, friendly room, with a casual atsmosphere. They have a full range of limit-games including 3-6 and 6-12

I like the 3-6 game(s) at the Mirage, and the 4-8 game(s) at The Orleans. The Orleans game is also interesting because the blinds are only 1 and 2, but keep in mind that this does change the pot odds for draws.

MJS mentioned my second favorite room in Las Vegas. The Orleans! Their new room is great, and they have a good game selection. They are about 5 blocks west of the strip, but easy to find.

One strange thing about the poker room at the Orleans though. They don't have a rail, so there is a bit more traffic among the tables. Their old room didn't have a rail either.

Luxor spreads 2/4 on occasion if you don't want to bankroll the higher stuff. They also have the daily noon ($25) tourney.

Thanks guys! I will give the Monte Carlo, Bellagio and Mandalay a shot. They are all amongst my favorite casinos anyway!
