anyone have any ideas, besides the classic pool? how about one on one betting?

for one on one, i've heard a draft style, where each person gets to pick a winner in each round. once the round is over (and the matchups for the next round is set up), you draft again. then the one who picked the most winners wins (obviously).

I'm in a large scale "Survivor" pool, and that is alot of fun every year. It's something different from the norm.

This involves a lot of people, and I've never done it, but it sounds like fun.

You get 5-20 people together. You BID on each team in the tourny. Every team gets bid on. Those that don't get grouped together in a "field" team.

Whichever team wins the tourny gets, say, 40% of the prize pool. 2nd place gets 20%. Other final four teams get 10%. Other elite eight teams get 5%. Whatever. Work the numbers how you want.

Obviously the teams like Illinois and UNC will be bid much higher than teams like UL Laf, etc.

Anybody can bid on as many teams as they want.
