How should .25/.50 blind structure affect hands I play?

In this game, the Stars .25/.50, the small blind is 40%(2/5) the size of the big blind, and in other games the small blind is 50% of the big blind. Does this mean I should play less crappy suited hands in the small blind?

Also, a lot of these tables are hella tight. I can often win the pot with a bet on the flop. It's strange to me for this to happen at such a low limit.

Yes, generally you should tighten up from the SB in this case. But at this level I wouldn't worry about it too much, just play your same hands. But this is an important factor in bigger games.
