I figure he would play most monsters slower, narrowing his range down to hands I fare pretty well against. If I call and win, I have a pretty dominating chip lead and a good shot to win, if I call and lose im down to 9ish BB with plenty of steal room and a chance to come back. Is my reasoning good?

This is a good time to gamble. You have plenty of room if you lose, and if you win you take control of the hedas-up match. I'd say the most likely type of hands are 77 and KJ.

Make some sort of comedic remark in the chat box, such as "they're s00000000ted!!!" and hit the call button. Your thinking seems about right to me. This is a great spot to do some gamboolin'.
