BB with Q /images/graemlins/heart.gif2 /images/graemlins/club.gif
UTG calls, SB completes.
Flop T /images/graemlins/spade.gifQ /images/graemlins/club.gif5 /images/graemlins/club.gif
Sb bets, I call, UTG calls
Turn 9 /images/graemlins/spade.gif
SB checks, I bet, UTG calls, SB calls
I guess I should have raised this flop even with top pair with no kicker. If I raise and only SB calls, would I continue to bet the turn on the 9 and check through the river?
I think I got lucky becuase the river was a 9 and my turn bet would have represented a 9.

It's raise or fold here. What guides your decision? Pot size dude, specifically in relation to the size of the bet. It's 4 sbs to you on a draw heavy board. You have to invest two sbs to raise this. It this pot worth fighting over? Not to me. I fold.

Are you playing 3 handed? If so I would probably fastplay this.
If you are playing 10 handed I see nothing wrong with calling on the flop.

Would the "check/call, check/call, bet" line apply here? If not, why not?

It would not apply becasue Hero is in position and becasue the opponent didn't show any aggression PF.

No, because:
a) 3 people are left in the pot
b) the bettor is out of position - we aren't

Opponent is alo very possibly drawing live against us. If we're ahead, it may not be by much.

In case you are wondering, go here (http://www.digitalblasphemy.com/) for more of where my old avatar was coming from. Great for backgrounds, not so good for avatars. /images/graemlins/frown.gif
