The board paired? Or the board shows 4 to the str8 now. MP2 is on a flush draw and is slowing down in the face of hero's aggression and the paired board or the 4 str8 whatever the case might be. Hero has 2 pair a str8 or a full house now . There is the chance also that the board paired and conterfited MP2 if he held 2 pair.
