You just sat down at a 1/2 table. You are on the button holding pocket 2's. An early position player raises.

How many people in between have to call before you call it cold?

i tend to like to have 2 cold callers...
some may argue for 3 i have a feeling though

I said 3 in haste, but now I'm leaning more toward 2. 3:1 is good enough for me, the implied odds on flopping a set make it up. I'll just go with at least 2.

The rule of thumb is getting 5:1. With 3 cold callers we'll get 4.5:1 (most often 5:1 after the blinds have act). i answered 3 cold callers b/c I don't think getting 3.5:1 is enough.
