all i can think of is JJ or J/10 which is unlikely.

I think you played it well, he didnt have a flush and try and get cute with it did he?

well it depends if he is really passive.

To beat you he'd have to be passive enough not to preflop raise JJ. For j/10 he would have to be passive enough not to cap on the flop with trips or bet out again on the turn only betting on the river with a huge holding.

If he is so passive he'll only bet the nuts then I'd say j/10 or jj could be it, but a slowplayed flush wouldnt make sense.

Hell I dont know.

On the river I'd just call. If he's got you beat, you save yourself a bet (or 2 if he re-raises you and you call). If you're ahead, I think you make the same amount as a raise because MP3 will probably call 1 bet (he raised the flop and stuck around after a 3-bet and a scary turn card) but not 2 cold.

Call the river hoping for an overcall from MP3.

I think you need to raise the flop and make the field call 2 cold. You have a chance to make it unprofitable here for diamonds or J9/97 to call. I would try to get this thing heads up.
I'm not convinced SB has you beat at the river. I see a lot of bad players lead into a strong field on the river and I'm not sure why. Still, I'm calling.

I would have open raised SB on the flop and called a raise. If he is really passive, just check/call the river, as he either has you beat or is more aggressive than PT is telling you.

With trips and a crappy kicker, and given the betting pattern of SB, I think I go for the overcall here.

I would raise immediately on the flop and play it fast.

I don't like that the SB bet out on the river and then 3 bet. Is this a good time to just call and hope that MP3 overcalls?
