tonight's super. Villain in this hand was 47/9. I am often confused on how to extract with this hand. Do I overcall with the non-threataning board or try to get into war on the flop? I need a better line here. Thanks

The pot is unraised and there are potential straight draws out there. (admittedly only the blinds are likely to have hit them) You might consider a minraise.

I'm certainly not the expert, but it looks to me like you're calling right here for the 75 on the flop. If one of the two remaining players raise and/or re-raise here, I think you push at that time. But as it stands now, I like just calling and not pushing the two remaining players out of the hand when they might just call a moderate bet with their VERY moderate hand. Building the pot for you to take down on the next street.

If there are four callers, you probably are raising immediately any bet on the turn. If it's checked to you, I think you need to lead out for perhaps 1/2 the pot. With that bet, my guess is you'll either take the thing down right there or, if you're lucky, you'll get raised and take down a big pot with a push.

But either way, I don't think you can slowplay this anymore ... win it on the Turn with a 1/2 pot-size bet, or push any re-raise. Don't give a free fifth card.

Start getting money in the pot NOW, before it looks suspicious. A raise or big bet on the turn reeks of strength. A pot-sized raise, followed by a pot-size bet on the turn and river, is the line I would take. The pot-sized raise on the flop will get you action from plenty of hands that have no business staying--and they often will remain customers on the remaining streets. If you just call now, and then try to pump the pot later, you are less likely to get callers.

That sounds way better than my advice. Listen to him.
