Villian is pretty solid

Party Poker 0.5/1 Hold'em (10 handed) converter (http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi)

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with A/images/graemlins/spade.gif, K/images/graemlins/diamond.gif.
UTG calls, UTG+1 calls, 1 fold, MP1 calls, Hero raises, 3 folds, SB calls, BB calls, UTG calls, UTG+1 calls, MP1 calls.

Flop: (12 SB) 6/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, 3/images/graemlins/spade.gif, 3/images/graemlins/heart.gif (6 players)
SB checks, BB checks, UTG checks, UTG+1 checks, MP1 bets, Hero raises, SB folds, BB folds, UTG folds, UTG+1 folds, MP1 calls.

I raised the flop to try to get heads up with this guy and maximize my chances to win if I draw to an AK. Is this correct?

Your free card + iso play worked, I'd check through and look for some help on the river.

I bet it and fold to a check raise. If he's solid, he has you beaten about 100% of the time, but a turn bet may get him off a winning hand.

If he has A6s, 55, 44, etc., he may fold to the turn bet.

If he just calls, I check through on the river.

I like this line. If the villain is solid, he probably didn't hit that board and is betting something like AJ or AT.

With 6 players, I'd generally say no - you won't get enough of them to fold. But with this garbage flop it might work.

Hey, it worked! Bet the turn. If he calls behind and checks the river - bet again. You've got a good chance to scare him off.

I don't agree here. If you miss the river check it through. If hes calling the turn bet he will call the river with any hand that will beat you.

You CAN'T check here, you give too many hands free cards that would fold to your bet. The is raggy and turn doesn't help muhc eaither. Bet the turn and check behind on the river.
