I am not sure if any sports books Americans use will have a line on the Cheltenham Gold Cup...(The UK's biggest horse race for the winter)
But www.ladbrokes.com (http://www.ladbrokes.com) and www.stanleybet.com (http://www.stanleybet.com) are offering 20-1 about Florida Pearl.
This has been the "nearly" horse in the UK over the last 3 years, he has been favourite for this race twice and ran into a place both times. He has had trouble staying the trip. But,they tried anew way of racing him over Christmas.. attacking the field early and hoping he holds on, rather than stalking the field and trying a late burst. It worked gloriously and he was impressive winner of the second biggest race of the year, the King George.
The reason he is 20-1? On Sunday he ran very poorly in Ireland. But, that run can be forgotten as it was run on dreadful ground which he hates. (He will have no chance if the ground is heavy at Cheltenham...but that has happened only once in the last 8 years).
If you can. Back him.
