Hadn't seen it in a while, but saw it last night on TV. I'd forgotten just how much I love that movie. Buscemi's "you should see the other guy" is, for me, possibly the funniest line ever in movies.
The last scene affected me in a way it hadn't before. After seemingly making fun of these people for two hours, the filmmakers show us what's truly important in life, a loving partner and sheltering home. "There's more to life than just a bit of money, you know." Indeed.
And after watching The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly earlier in the day, well, I couldn't think of a better double feature.
