As you can see, they're modeled after the Lance Armstrong "Livestrong" bracelets, and they're done by a Not for Profit Company. 100% of the company's profit goes to charities like Adopt a Platoon(to support the troops), Red Cross(to assist in tsunami relief), or Move On(non profit Democratic organization).

I ordered 5 last night and with shipping it was only $6 bucks(the bands are $1 apiece not including shipping). I designated my donation to go to the troops. It's a good feeling to help support the troops while also getting something you want.

Anyway I just wanted to post the link for similarly thinking members. They've already sold tens of thousands of these bracelets to people.

Please don't think it's spam. I have no connection whatever to thinkblue. Someone just gave me the link last night.

Peace

In case it wasn't clear above, you can select which cause you want your money to go to.

All employees of the company are volunteer.

Thanks. Donation for the troops is what did it for me.

I hate these bracelets too /images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Come on they are cool dude. /images/graemlins/tongue.gif Now I can wear the blue one on my left wrist and the yellow Lance one on my right wrist. Very fashionable. /images/graemlins/tongue.gif

They encourage you to give your bracelets to friends if they ask, and then tell them your story about who you gave it to, etc. They'll then send you a replacement, free of charge.

Really a great little operation.
