I'm teaching a class on poker, and some of my students wanted to look over some of my HHs with me and talk about them.
What I found was that my recent barely winning run may not be due to cards.
I found myself making some plays that I couldn't justify at all to them. I've been 8-tabling and listening to music and I'm gonna try cutting back temporarily.
I'll be playing 4 with no music for a bit and then try 6-8 with no music. I didn't realize it affected me but clearly I'm making decisions without thinking.
I recommend that you check some HHs if you are on a bad run and play a lot of tables. I'm really glad I caught this.
