I just want to check if I'm playing this ok, I estimated somewhere around 2.5 (maybe a litle more) outs on the flop and I had good position relative to the bettor if I hit a solid out (a 9). After hitting the straight with the 6/images/graemlins/club.gif I fear the flush is out there with so many players, do I have to rise that? Tell me what do you think.

Flop: personally... I'd fold here, deffinitly dont have pot odds for your two-outer... the fact that you *might* still be ahead here is something to consider along with the fact your closing action

River: i don't raise either

It isn't just the 2 outer, the backdoor straight has to count for at least half an out, no? That is why I called.

Folding this flop would have been a mistake.

I think betting the flop is definitely a consideration, it depends on how likely you are to get checkraised (which really sucks in this spot).

I think you played this hand well.

Hero doesn't have a two-outer, he has 2 outs to a set, 1.5 to a BDFD and 1.5 to a BDSD for a total of 5 outs. I would probably adjust the set outs because of straight possibilities to 1.5, for a total of 4.5 adjusted outs--folding here would have been a pretty large mistake.

This isn't a "borderline" call at all when you're getting 17-1 closing the action with a 4.5 outer--it's a must call.

lol
You'll win ~0.01% of the times you hit your flush.

Hmmm yeah you are right. Even without the BDFD still a call for sure though.

Agreed. But I would have betted the flop myself. Must bet IMO.
