Inspired by this post (http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showthreaded.php?Cat=&Number=1869746&page=0&view=c ollapsed&sb=5&o=14&fpart=1)

You have 3000 chips in the small blind and have 44.

Blinds are 25/50.

One player enters the pot before you, raising to 200.

You have installed a virus on his computer and know that he has AA (changed from KK because I want him to know he has overpair).

He has 2300 chips and is in second place. (i changed this from 1500 because I wanted him to have more than 12 times the 175 you need to put in since 12 to 1 to flop the set).

Do you call? Do you assume you will get all his chips if you flop a set?

You might want to check your odds.

My bad on the odds posted. They are 7.5 to 1 as most of you probably know. I was looking at odds of improving to trips after the flop.

That changes my chip requirements for the villian, but y'all understand the concept.

Also, if you don't have that virus (don't know he has Aces and is thus less likely to pay off), are you willing to call 15% of your stack or something like that with a small PP if you are only going to be in the pot with one or two opponants?

i will call if i know he has AA and i have over 2k chips and its only 150 for me to call. but will i call 15% of my stack not knowing what they have? very likely not

I think that I probably fold here (regardless of if I know what he has or not). I am of the firm belief that I will pass up MANY +CEV situations that will give me +$EV. This may be on the border of that (because it is a small portion of my stack), but I try and conserve every chip possible until the blinds are worth stealing as I believe I am very good at stealing blinds and can outplay people later.
