I haven't posted in this forum in a while. Hope y'all are doing well. I've been focusing on getting my limit game to a good hourly rate, so the only MTT's I play anymore are home game types.
Well, I won my first one yesterday. $100 buy-in, 69 people. It was a local event. The whole thing took about 6 hours but we played heads up for a little over an hour. He was a good tournament player, but I completely owned him heads up. Of the 69,000 chips in play, I only had a little over 20K when it got down to 2. I just outplayed him over the 50 hands or so. I'd chip away at him taking advantage of his larger than proper fold equity. He just waited too long to trap me, and I kept grinding him down.
