How do you calculate the odds of 1 person catching a straight in Hold Em when there are:

2 players
10 players

In order to give you any type of probability we need more info. What hand do you have? Do you want to know the probability of a straight on the flop or on the board? If you want to now the probability of any of your opponents having a straight it would be good to no the flop or board cards?

What I mean is out of 2 or 10 players, what are the odds of 1 of them catching a straight regardless of board cards assuming everyone played to the river.

Basically what I want to do is figure out the odds of 5 consecutive hands with someone having a straight.
