I am a limit player who just started trying NL. Here are some hands I've played recently. I would like to know what the more experienced players think about these.

My original game plan for this hand was to pretend like I was on a draw, and come over the top of someone who will protect their top pair. But should I lay this down to this much aggression?

Hand 1:

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ Hero (6 max, 5 handed) converter (http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi)

Hero ($98.95)
UTG ($90.58)
MP ($48.6)
Button ($103.29)
SB ($38.55)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 2/images/graemlins/spade.gif, 5/images/graemlins/club.gif. SB posts a blind of $0.25.
UTG calls $0.50, 1 fold, Button calls $0.50, SB (poster) completes, Hero checks.

Flop: ($2) 9/images/graemlins/club.gif, 5/images/graemlins/heart.gif, 2/images/graemlins/heart.gif (4 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $0.5, UTG raises to $1, Button folds, SB calls $1, Hero raises to $10, UTG raises to $19, SB folds, Hero calls $88.45 (All-In), UTG calls $71.08 (All-In).

Turn: ($191.53) 5/images/graemlins/spade.gif (2 players, 2 all-in)

River: ($191.53) 8/images/graemlins/spade.gif (2 players, 2 all-in)

Final Pot: $191.53

Hand 2

On this hand, the turn raise scared me a lot. Should I have laid it down then?

I had no reads on this guy, so I wasn't sure if he is able to bluff checkraise the flop, hoping I would fold overcards.

Preflop: Hero is Button with J/images/graemlins/club.gif, J/images/graemlins/diamond.gif. SB posts a blind of $0.25.
1 fold, MP calls $0.50, 1 fold, Hero raises to $3, 1 fold, BB calls $2.50, MP folds.

BB checks, Hero bets $4, BB raises to $15, Hero ???

Barring reads I:

Hand one:

Fold when he goes to $19. You're surely beat there unless he's a maniac.

Hand two:

Fold to the flop raise. He likely has KJ beat.

Hand three:

This is tougher, but if he has the 6, you're dead. If he's a strong tricky player, he may just be trying to represent the 6. He also could have something like 88. I don't want to play an overpair for my stack here so I fold this. Another option is to reraise and fold to a bigger raise but I'd just fold to the raise.

1: bet the pot, you're extremely vulnerable to the board pairing the 9 or the river pairing the turn.

2: i'd have probably folded to the raise

3: fold

hand 1.

bet pot. this minraise stuff doesn't work well as you are counting on people to have a 9 AND be willing to raise you with it.

hand 2.

on a 2 flush flop, I can see calling the flop raise as it could be a semibluff. I then lead for half pot on the turn and fold to any raise.

on a rainbow flop, I think you don't do too badly by folding to the flop raise. sure there are times they are semibluff raising with 54 but its rare enough that you don't have to worry about it.
