Here is a play I love making with a reraiser all in for low amount. I made a standard raise and he pushed like 50 or so and all in and he got called in 2 spots. Now when it gets to me I could flat call and hope to hit a good flop OR I could do the Isolate the raiser / Extract more Technique. By this I mean I reraise HUGE and hope to get some dead money in the pot thus giving me 3:1 vs the all in with a fair to strong heads up hand. If the flat callers Come along great, but more likely one will call defending his money the other will fold knowing hes up against the best of it by my reraise. This is what happened in the hand and the flop came such that I was able to fire a massive bet and move the caller out. Reraising preflop thus gave me +200 on the side pot no matter what the original all in has..in fact I scoop the whole thing but you will see how getting that dead money to either fold (giving me 3 to 1) with good hand vs all in tilter or making them call off BIG bet with inferior hand (if it was better hand then mine then they push on my raise) can be beneficial to all PLO8 games. This strategy is not new but is not used that often in the 1,000 PLO8 games as they stacks are so deep its hard to get a guy off his hand, however at the right time it can be very profitable.

I dont think ive seen this done very often. It looks very smart though to me. I mean you basically get 3 to 1 on your money if they all fold and its you and the raiser...3 to 1 and you got AA4x not bad!
