No great read, but SB seemed sufficiently aggressive.

Flop raise crappy?
Call down after 3-bet on the turn?

Flop raise seem fine.

Same with turn raise. I dont think he would limp KQ, but he might. JT or 98 is probably his most likely hands, with maybe a mix of club hands with another draw.

So the river call looks good too.

He most likely has a crappy two pair. Well played. Unfortunatly it may have included a queen, but wont more then 1 in 12 so you have to call the river.

The whole hand up to the river looks pretty standard, doesn't it? I'm assuming the only question is whether or not to call the river bet.

Originally, I posted that I didn't think calling was a good idea when I thought of what hands the Hero beats compared to what hands he loses to.

However, I've just done some math:

Possible holdings for the villain could include any of the following:

98 - 6 possibilities
99 - 1 possibility
88 - 3
Q9 - 4
Q8 - 6
JT - 16

Out of these, Hero only beats 98, but that's still 6/36 times (or 1 in 6).

Thus, the 11.5:1 money on the river is a clear call.

(I've don't think hands like AA-TT, KQ, etc, are possible holdings for villain as he didn't raise preflop and the read on villain was that we is "sufficiently aggressive").

I like the flop raise on a board with many possible draws especially if he's aggressive and willing to bet those draws.

Turn 3-bet scares me and against a more passive player I'd probably fold so it comes down to that aggressive read you have on him. Same on the river as you're not beating much anymore.

That would be so wrong.

Even if we assume the Hero is behind (which I'm not even sure he is), the Hero is still getting 9.5:1 money to call his 4-outer to a boat, plus the huge implied odds that follow.
