Mikey wanted to know how one can become a non-emotional poker player.
Let's consider the following function:
LIMIT E(t,n)=0
inf
where "E" is an emotional function that depends on one's temperament"t".
"n" is the sentence: Winning or losing a given hand or a given session is irrelavent and not important"
If one were to repent "n" for a very long time ,then "E" will approach"0".
Note this "damping function" is also regressive.
If one discontinue using "n" for a long period of time, one's emotioal level will revert bact to its original state.
Also note that the function is also a "psychological function" because
one cannot apply "n" on a "regular periodic basis" but must continue to use "n" on a random continuous basis.
Otherwise, the function will not be strengthened.
It also must be used in a "damping" fashion where the intervel of use increases in time.
Hope this helps.
