I had no idea what villain had in this hand- I was thinking Jacks but not sure. How would you play the turn and river?

Im sure i should have been more aggro on the turn.

/me grabs hero by the ears and starts screaming "HELLOOO NUT FLUSH!!!!"
Raise the turn.
Bad river.
dont give him credit for a boat unless he shows you he has one.

Yes, I'd say too passive. The dude probably has a J or a 4, or maybe a pocket pair 55 or better - most likely not 44, JJ, or J4. 3-bet the turn.

Edit: The river is probably a fold in this situation, unless you have a read that the guy is really aggressive and would raise for a bluff. Pot's not huge - less than 10BB and I'm 90% sure he has the boat without any reads.

As i look back at it, win or lose i deserve a hammering for not being more aggressive in this hand, so bring it on /images/graemlins/grin.gif

Real easy turn 3-bet. C'mon, you hit the card you were looking for. The rest looks good.

When you bet the turn, you are doing so with the intention of 3-betting. So yeah 3-bet the turn.

If you thought he had the boat, then why bother chasing the flush? Easy 3-bet on the turn.

Paradise .25/.5 rocks - I can't emphasize that enough. The players are SOOOO bad and predictable.
FYI - very few players will raise the flop with a J there. If you get smooth-called then raised on the turn, that's when you start worrying, but even then don't worry when you have the nut flush.

I guess it's not as bad as limping in w/ KK and check/calling the entire way with no Ace, straight, or flush draw on the board (yes, I saw this happen tonight) but your line is too passive nevertheless.
