Push pre-flop?

I would reraise the flop. There are a bunch of draws out there and you don't want to price them in. Also, since you're heads up pre-flop, I don't mind pushing if you think you'll get called.

why the fold on the turn?

he is basically allowing you to go to showdown for the flop pot amount.

To be honest I'm not 100% sure why I folded on the turn.
If I thought he might have the Queens then I should have folded on the flop. Nothing new happened on the turn.

Turns out that he had the Kings.

He would have folded had I raised the flop.

ReRaise to more than $15 preflop. Go at least 20 (or you could push)

I think you have to reraise the flop and see where you're at. If he calls, you have a very sticky situation.

Indeed you should have raised after flop.

1st: if you call you can be quite sure he will bet after turn too.

2nd: like someone already said when you raise you get much information from opponent. If he just calls, he maybe doesnt bet after turn.

I agree with everyone, you should have raised the flop.

The only situation where I would have played it different (called the flop, called the turn, raised the river) would be if villain were LAG (play the rope-a-dope).
