Small-buyin, mid-tourney, play has transitioned from maniacal to somewhat conservative. Blinds 400/800, I'm in SB with 3000 after posting, BB has 10,000ish and CO limps with 10,000ish (button folds). Only seen one orbit with these characters after a table move, nothing stupid but essentially no reads.

Given my stack size, I can't find any reason not to instapush here, please correct me if I'm wrong. However, more interesting to me, if I had a 10,000 chip stack, should I be very leery of an open-limp from CO or button? In this case, CO trapped with KK, ni han.

Say you have T10,000 in the above example - what's the correct play if you have a mid-high pocket pair i.e. 99-QQ? Do you change your strategy if CO/button open-limps versus puts in a 3xbb raise?
