NL newbie, first post. I am trying to shore up my play on the flop. Play has been LAG with MP2 VP$IP 64% and PFR% 18.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (10 handed) converter (http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi)

SB ($9.45)
BB ($53.78)
UTG ($22.15)
Hero ($24.15)
UTG+2 ($19.75)
MP1 ($44.1)
MP2 ($40.22)
MP3 ($15.25)
CO ($24.4)
Button ($14.3)

Preflop: Hero is UTG+1 with K/images/graemlins/spade.gif, K/images/graemlins/diamond.gif. SB posts a blind of $0.1.
<font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $1.25</font>, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, MP2 calls $1.25, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, Button calls $1.25, SB (poster) calls $1.15, BB calls $1.

Flop: ($6.25) 2/images/graemlins/heart.gif, 8/images/graemlins/heart.gif, A/images/graemlins/diamond.gif <font color="#0000FF">(5 players)</font>
SB checks, BB checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero...</font>

I am concerned here with the 2 flush and overcard. What is my best approach?

I think betting 1/2 pot here would be fine. You're not going to fold any draws and any aces are going to call you down so no bet will give you any information.

I bet the pot here and fold to a raise. If you get a smooth call or two, they either have an ace or the flush draw. So, if the turn is not a heart and they check to me, I bet again, this time around half the pot.

I seem to win these pots uncontested quite often with a pot-sized bet on the flop, even with the overcard. If your raise sizes are standard, it's entirely likely you've got a strong ace and they'll head for the hills.

Pot it. Given this is full ring I'd check / fold if I get any callers.

In 6-max I might be tempted to fire a second barrel on a non-/images/graemlins/heart.gif turn depending on my opponents.
