1 table $100 buy in winner take all. 1000 in chips, 15 min levels, blinds now 50-100. Assume I have 900 left.

I am UTG+3 with A /images/graemlins/heart.gif J /images/graemlins/heart.gif. Folded to me.

This is a short tourney with quickly increasing blinds and lots of gambling.

I raise to 300. I get reraised to 600. I fold.

Makes this play look very dumb. I don't always subscribe to the 10BB push school, but does anyone throw all the chips in pre-flop? Throw the cards in pre-flop? (probably a better play) Thanks.

how many people left? If there is alota gamlbing he could be reraising w/ 22-TT... u gotta call, you're gettin 2:1. And if u don't like that line, fold preflop, do not put in 300 and fold, that is DISATROUS. That's why u gotta push in preflop, 'cuz u are post committed... If you put in 1/3rd you stack, and fold to reraises, you are gona be losing alota chips, and leave yourslef very desperate.

I still like the fold preflop line.. but again, this depends on the chip stacks of others, and how many people left, however, u hafta take gambles, because you're goal is to win 1000 chips. And i think UTG+3=MP1
