Tecmo Super Bowl Here (http://www.everyvideogame.com/nintendo_Tecmo_Super_Bowl.htm)

I just ran for 442 yards on 18 carries and 7 Tds with Bo Jackson.

I definetly could have done better.

I'd like to see some ridiculous final stat screen shots /images/graemlins/grin.gif

(by the way, how do you do a screen shot?)

Building up sick stats gets boring real fast.

When I was playing Techmo Super Bowl years ago, I always played as the Patriots because they were the most pathetic franchise in the NFL (but still my favorite). In ten seasons, I only made it to the Super Bowl three times. I was 0-3. /images/graemlins/frown.gif

You were not that good then. I applaud your desire for competition, but you should be able to win the Super Bowl about 50% of the time you play - no matter what your team is.

To add difficulty, my brothers and I used to pick each others' plays, so that they all sucked. That made it difficult to win with some borderline teams, like the Saints - and virtually impossible with teams like the Pats.

I was always happy when Reggie Cobb (Bucaneers RB) led the league in yards gained. He was a truck.

Itz just ridiculous everytime he DOESN'T score a touchdown. Even if they pick your play, a couple dance moves in the backfield and you should be gone.

Can you play a season here if you don't close the site?

No screenshot but Webster Slaughter had 6 catches for 240 yards and 4 TDs.

How the hell am I supposed to defend the run? Passing is so confusing. I repeat that this game sucks.

Michael Davis
03-06-2005, 12:03 AM
I forgot how to play defense and actually lost a game. I remember how once every season or so you would lose a game because you would fumble every play. I was still shocked and embarrassed to lose.

I have been playing nonstop since I saw this post. No money today.

I'm getting pwned. And I'm cheating by using the Raiders.

Michael Davis

I randomly selected my team and got Cleveland. Their RBs suck pretty bad and so do I so I pass every play.

I love how the thing just freezes whenever you leave it. I think I'll be able to finish my season as long as I leave it open and my computer doesn't shut down.

When I was 13, I found a $100 bill buried in some snow in the parking lot of a local bar. I used it to buy Tecmo SuperBowl. I will never, ever, regret that decision. Tecmo SuperBowl is my favorite football video game of all time.

tbach24

I lose 42-14.

Bo Jackson: 13 carries, 43 yards, 0 TDs.

How am I that bad?

Take it for what it is. An amazingly fun, mindless game that came out a long time ago. It was the best game of its kind because if its simplicity (and easiness).

I'm losing 28-24 in the 4th quarter, I block Cincy's FG, Anthony Munoz recovers and runs 30 yards for the score.

Bo Jackson has a typical day: 17 carries, 742 yards, 9 tds.

I want to go for the 1000 yard game, a dream as a little kid. I think if I were to run every kick back to my own 1 yard line it would be possible. It would help if I got better at defense too. Time would be a big factor because the clock moves fast.

Anyone done it?

Michael Davis
03-07-2005, 09:50 AM
No. And I only went 11-5 in my season yesterday after starting 6-0. I won two playoff games but got trounced by Buffalo in the AFC Championship. Bad times.

For a thrilling AFC Championship match up of QB Browns vs QB Bills? Sounds exciting. Good times.

Although I don't have it anymore, I played a no-Offense season with the NY Giants and abused Lawrence Taylor, getting 100+ sacks in that season by bulleting to the ball-carrier. #1 in pass defense, #30 in rush! LT had about a dozen safeties, and Ottis Anderson had several kickoff/punt return TDs. I also injured Troy Aikman twice. (b^^)b

Unfortunately, I went 12-4 and crapped out vs. the 49ers in the Divisional Playoff. CPU + Montana/Rice = *pain*
