Is there any other way to play this type of hand from the BB in a loose-passive game?

looks good from here. think about all the cards that bury you on the turn, and then think about your kicker.

I'd play it the same...you are likely way behind in a 7-way pot, and if not, you are only slightly ahead against overs and OESDs.

Horrible flop for top pair, you're almost always smoked by showdown and the pot isn't big enough to suck it up.

I think the way you played this hand is weak. When the action first gets to you, it is clearly a check. Your next action will depend entirely on where a bet comes from. If you can force the field to call 2 bets cold by raising MP3 (especially if SB folds to this bet), then you can earn yourself a lot of pot equity. If you check, it gets bet, and there are 3 or 4 callers back to you, you can call as well, as your 5 outs will give you a fairly solid hand.

Remember, even though you don't have a great hand, the pot is moderately large and you don't want to give up the equity you have in it.

Everything above would be fine if you were going to be all-in after the flop. The fact that you have to face two big bet streets, out of position, with a hand that should be scared of any card other than a 2 or a 7 appears to make this a fold.

So, I'll see your Pot Equity and raise you one Reverse Implied Odds.

Aw come on now, there are 7sb in the pot on the flop. Even if we assume he needs to hit a 7 or 2 to win this pot, he should still see the turn assuming he isn't facing two bets cold.
