Maniac was of the 95/25 variety.

I think this line is sub-optimal, but man trifecta's are cool.

I cap the flop for value, bet into him on the turn, and call down from there.

Maniac's get hands sometimes too. What was his Postflop aggro?

Yea, I think he was 4-ish for postflop agg.

Against that uber lag I might three bet the turn but the above seems best to me.

Have you seen any of the hands he was playing really aggressive with? Was he raising turns with second pairs or draws?

If you've seen him doing it, I think you can 3-bet this turn (continuing on the line I said above), otherwise just call a turn raise and a river bet (assuming you don't hit your gutshot).

He played aggressive with most everything. He was clearly on tilt, coming in with a lot of stuff and playing it hard whether he was very strong or next to nothing. My stats on him were only over 25 hands. FWIW, he was at least showing down a high card when he didn't connect with the flop and went to showdown around 60%.

Then 3-bet the turn, and call down the river UI if he caps.

Well, I got popped on the flop and thought I would get a little fancy and CR the turn. When I got three bet again on the turn, I figured I was going to be better a lot more often than not, and I'd never even sniffed a trifecta. Definitely FPS.

He tables A7o and cheapens my glorious accomplishment :P

Thanks for the responses.

I might've capped the river. you also missed some bets trying to make him look bad.
