School is more important as it will give you more options later in life, and poker will just always be there when you are done with school.

Well, I chose to skip lots of classes, but I was in grad school so you can get away with it easier than in undergrad.

This seems odd to me, as undergrad classes typically have more students than the grad classes...

Going to school wasted 21 years of poker experience that I would now have gained had I not bothered. Give it up now.

Actually, not all that time was wasted, we played for polo mints from the age of 11, but as they were always inedible after the game, winning wasnt so important.

Are we turning into RGP here? /forums/images/icons/tongue.gif
My profs didn't care if I attended 50% of my lectures as long as i knew what was going on. Plus most of the material covered in the course was never presented in lectures...we had to read it on our own.

not because he's a fish, but because he's good for the games. A game with szan is almost always a good game, loosens everyone else up to see him taking down pots with 89 suited when he 3 bet it
