Villian sits down and posts BB, should I have folded the turn raise?

You played the hand fine. I would not fold to this turn raise.

Honestly I think this is totally player dependent.

Obviously if you're behind you have 4 outs to a boat, and if you're ahead you might lose to a club on the river. If CO has a 4 you've only got two outs. BB is overcalling so I think there's a good chance at this point that he has a big club.

I think this would not be a bad fold at all against a known passive, but against an unknown I think calling down is probably correct. A bad player might not even realize that his J7 is counterfeited and be checkraising you with a worse hand.

Yep, and the river too (assuming you didn't fill up). You only have to win 10% of the time to have your call-down be profitable.

Based on the frequency that I have witness, turn check-raises with garbage, I wouldn't go anywhere.
