A MTT I just played...sting isnt so bad as i already got top 20 in an earlier low buyin MTT.
The situation - down to 300 of original 2000 people, cash at 199th, im not worried about cashing i want top 3 finish. I've played pretty aggressive up to this point. doing a lot of calling in the BB to a 3xBB raise and betting the pot on the flop. Similiar to Punker's style, i was up to 17k but ran into SB vs BB, i had K10 he had AK (s'all good.)

Now I NEVER slowplay, like never, this is first time since i learned to never slowplay..i know its asking to get beat, however in this situation i was looking to triple up and encourage the other villian behind me to call, i knew i was so far ahead and tripling up would be sweet at this point at the tournament..This is the only reason i slowplayed, HU i would push the flop and if i was the shortstack id push flop
JQ needs 5.24 to 1 to call the flop bet, which he doesnt get.
on the turn he obviously makes this up, looking back i should of pushed the turn for 2 reasons
1. - draws such as OESD and flushs have odds to draw unless I push.
2. Good chance the OESD folds and the villian calls with his hand. (A10)
In an unraised pot I should have known there was a str8 draw out there..this is one of the biggest mental mistakes i have made recently.
so whats your opinion?
Did I play it fine?
Push the flop?
push the turn?
check/fold river?
