Hi guys, I've been out of touch with the microlimit forum adn with the influx of all these new 2+2ers its hard to keep track of who's who and who's this and who's that. So could you guys give me a list of who you think are the best regular microlimit posters?

Off the top of my head I can think of Entity and Shillx but I really don't know anybody else.

Thanks guys.

Aaron W. shows a hell of a lot of promise -- I think he'll show a lot more once he stops relying on math so much. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

btspider is very good...hmm...I'm going to go eat some dinner and think of others that impress me.

Entity, Shill(but beware the drunken posts /images/graemlins/tongue.gif), BT, you are actually pretty good when you're here, and I'll add others when I think of them.

Shillx is the best IMHO. Entity is a close second and more fun /images/graemlins/wink.gif

In no order:

Zulu, Shill, Entity are solid (well Shill's not solid, he's weak tight /images/graemlins/grin.gif)

btspider too.

It's hard to stop it from spilling out all over the place when you're an aspiring mathematician (ie graduate student). It can make for awkward dinner conversations. /images/graemlins/crazy.gif

I suspect I'd be quite a bit better if I had more time to play. Low table experience (3.5 years, 16388 hands online plus 5-6 casino trips) leads to poor intuition.

the regular best have all already been named. it drops off quite a bit after them.

dunno if he qualifies b/c he's 99% in SS, but i know i sit up & pay attention whenever the SS illuminati come down & post; e.g. sfer, sthief, yourself...

also every now & again, StellarWind will appear out of nowhere and just reel off some poker-poetry...

edit: i also like reading GrunchCan's posts.

I've had 2 straight flushes tonight, and I doubt any other micro posters can beat that.

even though guys like Davelin, and illunious are all better players than me /images/graemlins/smile.gif

this thread looks like some kind of weird Megan's Law "naming and shaming" page.

How long till we get the "who are the worst posters" thread?
If soon, i vote pete harris.

I agree with this.

There are lots and lots of good posters. There are some posters whose advice is at times better than advice from either shill, btspider or entity. But if the question is "who are the best micros posters?" then it has to be shill, btspider & entity simply becasue they contribute the most volume, and of consistently high quality.

If the question were, "Who are good micros posters?" then the list becomes very long. Too long, really. Everybody that was mentioned previously in this thread would be in that list, and many more besides.

I couldn't agree more with these three. I estimate that they have a combined post responding rate of 95%. That 5% accounts for that sliver of time when they're all sleeping!

Entity is hands down the best micro limit poster. There are too many other good/very good ones to name. I don't want to leave anyone out, but you know who you are.

they might, but it's CDC that wants to know!

my vote goes to shillx and entity. could just be that they're both so ubiquitous here, but both give consistently high quality advice. Of course there are others, but as they don't post as much it's harder to recall names.

I have nothing to contribute that hasn't been said, except I read your question as who are the best (playing) microlimit posters, to which I humbly admit that I am the best playing 2-7 triple draw poster here... /images/graemlins/smile.gif

All the above mentioned as well as...

Detruncate-very respectable poster

Scotty34 and thesharpie- chime in every once in a while with stuff that isn't particularly obvious. Tops on my list because they take the time to post original hands to discuss.

Milesdyson-I can always count on this poohbah to give me a good swift kick in the ass in my posts. Sometimes multiple times.

A lot more of Rolf's articles can be found at www.pokerpages.com (http://www.pokerpages.com) Don't bother though, Rolf has no idea how to play poker and has never won a nickel. I'm more curious as to where I can find more wisdom by Nfinity.
