What do you think of this laydown? What do you put the opponent on and why, and how do you play the hand after he bets $6 on the flop?

Obviously, this is very opponent dependent. Against a Laggier, crappy opponent I call everytime, expecting to see AK or AQ far more often than QQ, the hand you really fear. Against a rock with a 14 VPIP and 3-6 PFR I fold every time. Against a tricky good player I probably fold.

If you have a read or PT numbers that may change my answer, but I think I'm calling here against an unknown party player. His preflop raise size just doesn't make me believe he has QQ. I have to believe he would've re-raised/pushed with KK preflop OR C/r'ed the flop all in. KQ concerns me a bit.

Tough spot, especially since the pot is sizable. I call.

I'd call his all in.

QQ is the likely culprit, because I think KK comes over the top PF.

AQ/images/graemlins/club.gif is also not great for you. KQ is possible?

I reluctantly call, expecting to be shown KQ.

i think you made a good fold there. if the flop only came K-high, you could consider the call. but i would be very worried about being shown KQ or QQ here

I think you have to call this just because of the size of the pot. Their is $62 in the pot and it's $13 more to call. I think you're ahead here often enough to make this a pretty easy call. JMO

It was $28 more to call, just to clarify. Does that change your decision?

Oh sorry, misread your post. Yeah that does change things, I would need a read now. JMO
