Party Poker 0.5/1 Hold'em (10 handed) converter (http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi)

MP2 is a LAP according to default PT ratings.

Preflop: Hero is UTG with 7/images/graemlins/heart.gif, 7/images/graemlins/diamond.gif.
Hero calls, 3 folds, MP2 calls, 3 folds, SB completes, BB checks.

Flop: (4 SB) J/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, 3/images/graemlins/spade.gif, 9/images/graemlins/heart.gif (4 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets, MP2 calls, SB folds, BB calls.

Who likes this flop bet? Who dislikes it?

Turn: (3.50 BB) 2/images/graemlins/club.gif (3 players)
BB checks, Hero...?

Would you fire again?

I like it- it's likely that there's either a J or a 9 out there, b/c MP2 is LAP, but a bet will tell you definitively. If you get played with you probably want to shut down, but it's not that bad a flop for you

I like the flop bet/fold line, but the turn is a toughie. While there's a possible straight draw, this isn't a draw heavy board. There's a decent chance someone is calling you with a nine: A9, K9, Q9, etc., maybe Jx that they aren't thrilled about betting. Did you not have a read on BB? Sure, this is Party .5/1, so you can't always expect thinking players, but in this small pot, what do you think they're calling you with that you're ahead of? Q8? T8? T7? I think that if you're reads are such that they'll call you down with bupkis, a gutshot in a small pot, or an overcard, you should fire again. In the heat of the game, I'd have probably bet the turn again, and folded to a raise, since if I thought I had the best hand, that deuce didn't change anything. Ditto for a river blank.
