Empire Poker 5+1 2k guarentee. Blinds were at 200/400. I've got about 2400 in chips and Im in the small blind with an Ace9 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif suited. Im 2nd low stack at table and the big stack at the table (has about 17k) raises to 800. Everyone else in the hand folds around to me. My logic here is that he's just trying to collect the blinds, so I just call his raise
The flop comes 4 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif2 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif9 /images/graemlins/spade.gif
Top pair with a diamond draw is good enough for me. I go all in and he calls quickly with two queens and as you can imagine, no diamond, no ace or no nine.
Should I have been more patient and folded that hand in the small blind and sat tight for a better hand to come? Thanks guys.
