Just played this 3/6 hand at party - what do you all think?

I don't see any other way to play it with the paired board. Your probably behind but are getting way too good of a pot odds. You could just as easily be against an overplayed KK.

some FPS preflop, just 3-bet it.

well, check 3-betting the flop gives mp2 27 to 2 odds with whatever he has... and the CO gets 29 to 2, so it's not like you're protecting your hand there.

OTOH, if you just bet out on the flop, mp2 would probably raise, then the CO would 3-bet, and you could cap make mp2 stare 3 bets in the face with his top pair which all the sudden doesn't look so good.

i think you gave this one away to mp2 by being tricky.
