i'm sorry, but i think every part of this hand just sucks.

EDIT TO ADD: It's probably because I suck at O8, but this hand just seems very bad. You could of course explain it to me.

fold preflop, fold the flop, fold the turn, just call the river, the way this hand was played there is a good chance CO has you beat with KK or JJ

Nick, you really don't like this as a limp preflop with high only hand? It's not a premium preflop hand by no means but I will see a flop sometimes with high only hands.

On the flop it's a soso fit. I like to bet when I have a high hand and get a high flop to see what happens behind me. I am not happy with the 2 calls behind. At this point I will toss it on the turn without improvement.

The turn is good card and a bad card for me. I now have 2nd set but a str8 is possible. I checked to see the action and mp's bet leads me to believe he has the str8. This I think is my mistake I don't have odds to draw to the boat.

The river brings me my card but is it good? mp's check puts him square on the str8 but what of the co's bet. I looked at the 30 as a weak bet and did not give him credit for the higher boat and raised to 100.

KQQ3

Suicide,

Action on river , call and then promptly kick my own ass for even being in the hand.

Flop play was terrible, this is not a so-so fit, all you have is a pair of kings.

River call, I doubt anyone has KK, so all you are really afraid of is quads, I might even raise.

The CO probaby had 88, J8, QJ or KJ

F_LD. Vanna, I'd like to buy an "O".

Seriously. You've got no reasonable chance to have the nuts or draw to the nuts, either pre-flop or after the flop. What am I missing here?

Well I thought my mistakes were later in the hand but most people feel the mistakes were early. I'm gald I posted this hand.

A fold preflop or on the flop would not leave me with the more difficult later decisions.

Do most posters only play the nuts or draws to the nuts? I have been willing to play a hand strong in PL that I think has good chance to be good even if it's not the nuts. I tend to be aggressive and it seems to work for me.

PLO8 is not NL Holdem. Agression won't get you very far unless the table your at is kind enough to be retarded. You by putting yourself in these situations are begging to get freerolled for all your chips.

If your forced into difficult decisions on the river chances are you shouldn't have been there in the first place.
