I have AA in a 2-4 NL game. My stack size is around $550.

There are 2 limpers and one poster behind me.

I raise it to $25, the poster calls and 1 limper calls.

3 people $85 in the pot.

The flop comes down 9c 8s 7s.

Limpers stack is around $400
Posters stack is around $80.
I have around $500+ in this hand.

Limper checks.
I bet $25
Poster goes all in.
Limper calls for $80

Now its to me.

I'm going to tell you what I did and then I'm going to tell you what I should have done. You tell me if it makes sense.

I called. To await development in the hand. The turn was a Qc. Limper checked, I bet $55 and he called. River was a 6s. Limper checked I checked.

I think what I should have done was raise on the flop again maybe to another $80 or so, this way I can find out for sure if the limper has me beat with his action by either coming all over the top of me for his chips or by just calling and then maybe peggin him on a draw or a made hand. This helps me better define his hand.

The poster who pushes all in means nothing to me.

What would you do here?

The poster pushing shouldn't mean much to you since it could mean anything from a flopped straight to a bare ten, flush draw, basically a very wide range of hands. Limper's flat call might worry you though.

I would probably raise the flop to isolate the poster, although if the limper comes along for the ride, I'm done with it.

Oh, out of curiosity, do you have the A /images/graemlins/spade.gif?

Are you saying that if he died on the spot, you wouldn't care?
