Should I have capped preflop? was afraid that I would scare the villian between us out. What about the bet on the turn?

should have capped the turn. by just calling you're giving him close to 16 to 1. if he's drawing to a gutshot of flush, you gotta make him pay for it.

I don't get what you are asking here. First of all, you can't cap the flop, you 3-bet it. Second of all you bet and raised every step of the way, do you think you should have called or folded at some point?

I'd think about attempting to check-raise the river. Other than that I like it.

I like your plays, maybe i would have done things different if you had some reads on the players but solid play. I dont understand the rational of capping the turn to scare out a flush draw b/c cap or not the pot odds were correct. Maybe there is some more logic behind that.

3-bet the turn.

Cap PF, The time to get value out of your big pairs is now while they are certainly best.

I might have considered checkraising the turn, but betting out and going for a 3bet is okay. I don't think I would have just called the raise, I would have 3-bet it. If he caps the turn then I start to be scared of the straight, and I'll check/call the river UI.

As you played it, I would definitely try to check/raise the river.

PR: Cap

Flop: Way to bet out and not be a pussy.

Turn: 3-bet the turn, but probabaly be pissed if he caps.

River: Gotta bet it.

Didn't read thread though so sorry if I repeated what others had to say.

not 3-betting the turn is bad

When he capped the flop, I thought he had a straight to 80%, villian was what I belive a loose passive player. If that is my thougt is it then bad to bet out on the turn? When I got raised on the turn, I was shure he had a straight. Should I have check raised the river?

theres no way to be sure about him having a straight. KQ flopped top 2 pair, JJ a set of jacks, AK has tptk... they all cap the flop pretty easily.

Probably right as I think villian could have lots of hands we are ahead of.
