I dig it the most.

Just don't let them river a K, like I did in a similar hand yesterday. Well, similar except for that I capped the turn. So yah, on second thought, maybe you should raise the turn. Get some extra action out of the K, eh?

Why did you think you'd be able to call-raise the turn after button and BB called the flop?

because that's what they'd do if they had a K. BB checking from first position then calling is particularly suspicious

But they wouldn't 3bet with a K?

good point, but I don't think they would unless it had a big kicker. I think I should've raised the flop FWIW. I don't like posting hands I think I played well

Yeah raising earlier is usually best because you will get plenty of action if a king is out and a flush draw won't fold for any amount of bets. Button and big blind hands are played very strangly perhaps a gutshot str8 draw or a small pp. On the turn I can see how you thought one may have a king when 2 both find a reason to call the flop. Oh well we all wiff sometimes. /images/graemlins/laugh.gif

I like it too. At least in my oppinion, this is a situation where a player has a little more room to play in a manner that they see fit (to some extent.). As long as the thinking behind the play is sound, then I think that this is fine. Although not the standard line, I think this play holds merit. I have heard that typically the 15/30 plays very agressive. Calling to induce a raise with a made hand on the flop seems fine. I think I woulda raised the turn though as flush draws will calls, as will any K.
