Anyone have one that they would recommend (also helpful, ones they wouldn't recommend). I'm looking for ones that are under $150 a piece hopefully.

Your best bet are anime cons. I've heard stories of awesome ones going for $100/pop. Of course, cons are ridiculously expensive otherwise.

I didn't know what heck a DDR was until now. But, I'm not a 12 year old Japanese girl, so there wouldn't be any reason for me to know.

I find people diss on DDR a lot like people diss on sushi. It's Japanese, a little weird, and they've never tried it before; therefore, it's bad?

DDR has its positives and negatives. I don't play 'cause I'm an uncoordinated fatass.

I don't diss on sushi. I love pickled octopus. Reread my post and try to find the real meaning.

Wow, you missed the point of my post worse than David Duval misses cuts.

Yea I actually read your post after I had my response typed up and realized it didn't really match, but oh well I decided to post it anyway in general.

Maybe because he realizes that despite its title, DDR has nothing to due with actual dancing. It's just a fun video game.

Ok, decent point. Most people I know that are DDR freaks don't look at it like a video game though. Atleast they are getting excercise. Still, if you are going to dance, grab a woman!

Apropos of nothing, in Lawrence, Kansas, there is a regular night at one of the bars that is a Communist Dance Party. It is also called Dance Dance Revolution. I kind of like that.

All the DDR-hate has to stop. It's an awesome game.

i've never tried ddr, but i think it's good. there are documented accounts of kids losing lots of weight and getting in shape after getting into ddr. also from what i can tell, it's relatively social (they have the competitions and stuff). if i had kids (and they managed to survive past the age of 5), i'd much rather they played ddr than watch tv or play nearly any other video game.

I'm still not sure. Is that the thing where they dance on the lighted floor and have to keep up with the music or something?
