i really hate raising utg with KK. other than that, you played it fine, nothing you can really do when A3 calls and hits trips. happens all the time, get used to it though.

Why do you hate raising UTG with KK? Do you limp with the intention of re-raising? If so, why is that your preference?

nah, i just fold utg, i dont like KK, its not good enough for a raise.

ok but foreal though, i limp intending to straight out push if im playing a 55 or lower. a lot of times they will call with a hand as weak as AQ or 99 thinking you are trying to steal it away from them. and they ALWAYS call if they have JJ or better. ok, maybe not always, but way more often than they would to a normal reraise. try it out, if someone makes it like 90 to go, when it gets to you delay for like 15 secs then push. u would be surprised at the kinda crap they call with.
