Checks behind. While you don't typically see villain check if he hit his trips, occasionally you do. Looks more like a busted straight draw, but he might have 89 or something and is going to let you bet like you have every other street. You are probably ahead here, but I would check behind on this river.

I had the same line of thought, he most likely hit trips or a busted straight draw. Either way i'm not making money with a bet, so a check seemed the safest way to go.
