Going to spend tonight trying to 8 table sit and gos as a test. Hope I can handle it... (Starting at low limits of course until I know I can do it reasonably well)

What are low limits for you? $5+1?

Low limits for me was $11s. I don't think he's going to drop to $6s. But, it doesn't matter all that much since he'll either quit 8 tabling or move up.

I had trouble with 8, but 7 seems a lot more manageable...

This makes no sense to me. Unless it's a joke. And in that case, bwahahahahahahahaha!

But I doubt it's a joke and I'm curious why 7 is so much better than 8.

i eat a lot of tv dinners, and EZ Mac. open a packet, dump in a bowl, add water, put in microwave, all in 20 secs or less. 4 mins later grab it run back to computer, mix it, eat it, be hungry no longer.

Are you guys playing 8tabling in sets or always have 8 running?

i would say most people do them in sets. i always just keep them running though, makes my hourly rate go up and i can squeeze in quite a few more than most doing in sets believe it or not. actually, i probably get in a lot more than people doing it in sets. however, 8 tabling is stressful, and people do them in sets to get a break. i play 10 hours straight very often without a break, but i pump out a lot of sngs.

This is so mind numbing I can't take it. I guess some people weren't born to play 7-8 tables. Maybe I can do 5-6 though sometime?

I 8-tabled the $11s for a while a week or two ago. I *really* enjoyed it even though one of the monitors I was using was 17" running 1600x1200. Sure I was making mistakes, not adjusting properly and scraping together a minimal ROI, but it was still a fun experiment!

I would expect with all the blitz chess you must have played and kung-fu chess craziness that 8-tabling would be right up your alley.

takes a couple days to get used to it, then its easy. just stick with it for a little while, pump out 200 sngs or so, then you will be comfortable with it.

No I just can't do it. I like to relax when I play, whenever I try to play too many games it makes me hate myself for some reason.
