I have been playing online for over 4 years and have had good runs and bad...right now im up to over 10,000 in my account off a 600 buy in and havent got my bonus out yet..heres the question Every night I worry that im going to wake up and the money be gone, full tilt close its sight and steal the money, the players all get arrested and site closes for being ran by owners in USA, am I nuts? Should I just cash out? I love having the big bankroll there and it has allowed me to play the best I ever have at the 1 2 Nl and 1 2 PLO limits...Your thoughts?

Wow that was pretty much useless response...my question is more of why do i feel this way and what would you do..

why dont you only keep 1k or so in full tilt and the other 9k in neteller. that is what i would/do do.

Would you do that though because you think it will be taken from you? Or because its better money managment?

i do that because i trust neteller far more than any other poker site. i have complete faith my money will still be there when i wake up and also there is almost no reason to keep 10k on their site unless youre playing ultra high limits.

Not that this will completely resolve your worry, but I have had up to 30k in my FT account and not had any problems.

That helps to a degree...have you made any cashouts over 7500? If so was it quick smooth no bs etc

No. Tend to stay around 5k per transfer.

No problems at that level?

More importantly, why is the sky blue? What kind of ambiguous and unanswerable question is that... "Why do I feel this way?" I don't know, Why do you? Tell us. Jeez, the noobs today just aren't like the old days. haha. The saddest part is I am a 'quazi' noob, and I don't ask nonsense like this. Essentially though, your money is as safe in FTP as it is at any site, they aren't run in the US, just created and financed by people from the US, BIG difference. Plus they are growing fairly rapidly now, no use worrying about them closing doors now. They have a marquee $200K tourney coming up too, I would say they'll eventually crack the top 4, GREAT tourney structure for the more talented among us.

Truth be told I read some rumors on FCP board about since the owners reside in USA that it could be taken over and them arrested etc thats what got me going...I used to have over 23k on UB and never was worried...maybe im nuts

From my experience, the blind structure is great but the time for each level seemed a bit short?

If you own a whorehouse in France the US has no jurisdiction--only the local authorities. The only arrest possible is perhaps for Income tax evasion.
